The Center for Sacred Living

A Vision for a New World Rooted in the Sacred

What started as a seed of inspiration has become a living, growing vision — The Center for Sacred Living, a regenerative, permaculture-based sanctuary where humans and nature are woven back into sacred relationship.

It is a sanctuary born of ancient wisdom and future dreaming, grounded in ecological stewardship and the reawakening of sacred feminine wisdom. While the physical center is still taking shape, its spirit is already alive in rituals, in relationships, and in the daily acts of living with intention and reverence.

Sacred Reimagining

Living Beyond Patriarchy and Returning to the Sacred

The vision for The Center for Sacred Living began in 2015, when I learned that part of my family’s land on

Whidbey Island—the land I grew up on—might be sold.

This is the land that shaped me. Its trees, its tides, its quiet wisdom have always been my greatest teachers. And when the opportunity arose, I knew in my bones: I was meant to steward this land.

What started as a seed of inspiration has become a living, growing vision—The Center for Sacred Living, a regenerative, permaculture-based sanctuary where humans and nature are woven back into sacred relationship.

We’ve already begun. From the ground up, we built a guest house and garage, and recently fenced a 9,000-square-foot medicine garden and orchard—soon to be filled with healing plants and fruit trees, and future home to our apiary and chicken coop.

By 2030, we plan to build the main house for multigenerational communal living, along with a gathering and teaching space. We envision a place to share meals, tend the land together, and welcome others into a way of life rooted in connection, reciprocity, and Earth wisdom.

Our three acres will become a vibrant ecosystem filled with life and learning. Chickens, goats, sheep, bees, herbs, vegetables, fruit—all cared for with reverence. We’ll craft herbal remedies, prepare nourishing food, and share what we grow with others.

But this is more than a farm.

It’s a living classroom.

A spiritual hearth.

A place of remembrance.

We’ll host workshops and gatherings on Earth-based living, ancestral skills, folk herbalism, creative expression, sacred embodiment, and community restoration.

Eventually, we hope to expand to seven neighboring acres—where we imagine building a tiny house village with space for interns, single mothers, or elders seeking sanctuary. A place where children grow up rooted in nature. Where community care is practiced daily. Where all generations are supported.

This isn’t just a vision.

It’s a return.

A return to the land.

A return to each other.

A return to the sacred.

The Center for Sacred Living is not just a place to visit—

it’s a place to remember who we are

and how we belon

g to the Earth.
